*******Do You Have True Peace?*******

Our God is so awesome. As you know we all have our roads, paths, and purpose, but did you know that whatever we come up against can't take away our joy? I am sure when I say this next phrase a lot of heads will be bopping and hands will be raised; my life is an obstacle course. Everyday I get some right hook, or wrench thrown into what I thought was my plan for the day.

But, the Holy Spirit fills me upon request, and allows me to maintain my inner peace and joy no matter what. It still amazes me that while I am going through some of the toughest, most isolated patches of my journey; the Holy Spirit keeps lining my days and hours with the most loving people, clarity, and solutions to things that seem so impossible to the human eye. I say, Praise God that I get to see things through the Holy Spirits vision.

I received my four page MRI report, never in all my years have I seen a MRI that was four pages long, my first reaction was to cry and then I just said " it is what it is," and let it go, I couldn't believe I did that. A few minutes later my phone rang and it was a new, but very dear friend I recently made, and she said, "Patricia you have to get well, because you're my rainbow." I started crying, but they were tears of joy because I knew it was the Holy Spirit letting me know that my Journey is no where near over. We talked for two hours about her life's path at the moment, and how reinventing ourselves isn't an easy task, however, with the Holy Spirit as our Guide we know we will get to the point in our journey that He wants us to attain, and it will be in His time not ours.

I guess what I am trying to share is that, no matter how things might look or feel, when we surrender our hearts and minds to the Holy Spirit we get Peace in return; not just a temporary peace like when we escape to another room for alone time, but inner peace, a tranquility that we can only receive, when we surrender our instinctive reactions, and let go and let God. John 14: 26-27  "But when the Father sends the Comforter instead of me-- and by the Comforter I mean the Holy Spirit--He will teach you much, as well as remind you of everything I myself have told you. I am leaving you with a gift-- peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn't fragile like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid."

I hope this brings you encouragement and knowledge that there is a Huge family out here who is praying for each of us, and our circumstances, and that God's love is being given to us daily through all our brothers and sisters....
May we all have a fruitful, peaceful weekend, and may God continue to hold us all in His loving embrace. Patricia©

  3. Hello Patricia, That is a long MRI report and very daunting. However..."Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on your own understanding." This verse came so quickly to mind, I know the Lord Himself, is sending it to you!!
I suffer heart problems..its the electrial system, and I care so much for others that it effects me. In my latter years of nursing I began to get burn out...
    But God is in control..
I understand, as Christians we are never loosers, He is with us here on earth, or we are with Him there in Heaven...So I shout to the Lord in song...How Great is my God..We are always winners in Him.
If you would like to write me and confide your diagnosis I may be able to offer some assistance or understanding.

  4. You are so right. As long as you know that He is in charge, it doesn't matter what is going on.
