*************It Gets Better*************

Hi My Dear Brothers and Sisters, As some of you may be aware of, (especially in the states,) there have been a lot of teen suicides as of late, and there is an actual organization and site on u-tube called It gets better.org It was created for all those children being bullied for being different. For those of you who have read my book you know this topic is very close to my heart, so I was inspired to write this poem. I am not sure who may need to read it, but only that I felt compelled to write it.

I hope you all have a fruitful safe and loving week, and may we all remember to treat each other with respect, for there is only one Judge of this planet and none of us is He. Love, hugs and prayers Patricia xx
*( another young man took his life, there is a Special on T.V. this week about his being bullied and how his parents are trying to get a new law passed, our prayers be with them and all the other parents)

It Gets Better

I'd remove your pain if I could,
without question, you know I would.

It hurts me so that you're in need,
but I've asked our Savior to intercede.

For free will is a personal choice,
oh how I wish I could lend my voice.

To help you see the lives you touch,
and if you leave, you'd be missed so much.

How I wish you knew what a light you are,
truly one of our Father's brightest stars.

It's not what we gather, but what we leave behind,
a replacement for you, would be impossible to find.

For we each have a purpose that we are meant to complete,
and when you alter the equation, it can result in defeat.

And though I know our day will come,
to whilst we'll return, to where we're from,

I say with all the love in my heart,
I pray it's a long time until you depart.

So my dear friend please remember each day,
that you're never alone when you kneel down to pray...

  3. Hello there. Your poem is beautiful and flows so nicely! Well I honestly think parents ought to reevaluate why they have their kids in government schools anymore? The real open season is the indoctrination going on where they aren't taught to think for themselves. This kind of thing will only get worse because it doesn't bring the responsibilty back on the parents where it belongs. Moving further away..my 2 cents. Wishing you well (not trying to detract from your thoughts)
