**********Everlasting Joy**********

In Psalm 34 God tells us that if we reverence Him, He will guard and rescue us. He also promises us that if a good person calls to Him for help He saves us from our troubles, What a big amen that is.

The first several verses really make my heart smile and fill it with such joy because He sums up my spirit so concisely. Psalm 34: 1-4 "I praise the Lord no matter what happens. I will constantly speak of His glories and grace. I will boast of all His Kindness to me. Let us praise the Lord together and exalt His name. For I cried to Him and He answered me! He freed me from my fears. Wow the more we practice these few lines the more joy and clarity we experience.

So awesome and comforting my heart instantly fills with Joy each time I read this. I awoke at 1:30 this morning with a heavy burden and load on my heart for those I love and who are close to me. Many going through such difficult trials and pain.

As I was brought to my knees and lifted my eyes to our loving Father the Comforter wrapped me in His loving arms and filled my shaky body with calm, and replaced my tears with a smile as He guided me to this passage.

I pray this same comfort comes to all my Brother's and Sister's who are experiencing similar anguish and trials. For when we remember that our Father never leaves us, we are filled with such peace in all things and situations.

May the following inspired poem from this scripture bring you relief and comfort to your eternal being knowing that someday we will all be pain-free and joy-filled for all
of eternity. Love hugs and prayers Patricia xx, ( from my upcoming book, Poems For The Eternal Heart, a Daily Devotional)

Everlasting Joy

Just saying the word everlasting
brings a calmness to my mind,
knowing that in eternity
are human bodies are left behind.

For it's at that time we will receive
and the attacker no longer can deceive.

When our Savior as promised begins His desent,
with His outstretched arms spread wide,
when every one of His children will rise,
even those that may have died.

Because all that pain that we endured,
was so this everlasting joy would be secured.

For when our Savior hung on that cross
it was there He defeated death,
and it was then He made His promise,
His flock would have eternal breath.

So when we're still and quiet, it's His voice that can be heard,
Whispering children please remember, I always keep my word.
