***The Longing of the Eternal Heart***

New Living Translation (©2007) Isaiah 30:18
So the LORD must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the LORD is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help.

Our Heavenly Father only wants all that is good for His children. He stands by our side even when we don't acknowledge His presence. It is not He who leaves but us who forget that we are never alone. There are times in our lives when we feel isolated though in a room full of people, and those moments can be even lonelier than when we are in a room by ourselves. However, the truth is, we have all we need living on the inside of us.

God the Father wants us to know that when He filled us with the Holy Spirit after we accepted His Son as our Savor, that we have God with us whenever and wherever we need Him.

Therefore, when going through trials we must remember we possess all the answers we seek. We have the Comforter to lift us up and give us strength and direction, as we read in  Romans 8: 26-28  (NIV)

2627And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. 28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,j whok have been called according to his purpose. Remember some of the hardest trials harvest the biggest blessings.

I hope this inspires you for the upcoming week and that the below poem from my upcoming book "poems of the Eternal Heart gives you encouragement and strength.
Love, hugs and prayers Patricia xx

Through Our Father's Eyes

When we witness to a stranger,
with the Spirit on our breath,
our loving Father smiles,
and the attacker nears his death.

For the more we work together,
spreading God's love and light,
the prouder He becomes of us,
and we are pleasing in His sight.

This isn't very hard to do,
as the Spirit lives within,
and by the death of His only son,
He washed away our sin.

So now that we've been saved by Grace,
there's nothing we can't do,
as long as we remember,
Who's first,  who's pure and true.
