*******If Everyday We....... *******

"When We All Get To Heaven"
Please click on the below link to really start your day with a skip and a smile:))

If everyday we seek the Lord,
in everything we do,
than all that is to follow,
will be right and wise and true.

If everyday we lean on God,
no matter what we face,
without a doubt God's mercy,
can never be erased.

If everyday we ask our Father,
what our task is for the day,
the one thing we can count on.
is that He will light our way.

If everyday we give Him thanks,
for both the good and bad,
than by days end to our surprise,
we somehow won't be sad.

If everyday we search God's wisdom,
with an understanding heart,
than there He'll be by our side,
to ensure we'll never part.

If everyday we bow our heads,
and praise His Holy name,
than by His grace we can be sure,
eternal life remains.....

I hope the above poem from my upcoming book "Poems From the Eternal Heart a Daily Devotional"
brings you inspiration and encouragement in the upcoming week.  Inspired by the below passage.

In Proverbs 2:1-7 1 My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, 2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; 3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, 4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; 7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;

There is a difference between earthly wisdom and Godly wisdom. when we hear ourselves saying "why can't "I" figure this out?",or "I" don't know what "I" am suppose to do, we are leaning on our carnal wisdom. But when we hear our voice saying "God what is it you want me to do?" or  Lord grant me the discernment to figure this out, than we are leaning on our Godly wisdom.

It is than we know our loving Father is in control of all consequences, and whatever follows will always be in our best interest. So I hope this week we all remember who is asking the questions and guiding our steps, and if by chance the attacker tricks us and we hear ourselves saying "I" we will remember to bow our heads, ask for forgiveness and start over. May we all have a week filled with love, light, and wisdom and may our Heavenly Father continue to wrap us all in His loving embrace. Hugs and Prayers Patricia xx

  3. Marg I am so grateful that my gift from God brings you a sense of calm as He does the same for me when I am writing them> I am almost ashamed to take credit formy poetry as it flows so freely and naturally that it's done before I know it, but it has been that way since I am a very young girl and began writing my poetry as an outlet for me while my parents were divorcing, but as always God knew and let me know early on it was more than a personal release. I an humbled by your encouraging words and support Love hugs and prayers xx
