******When You Know The Savior******

It is so awesome when you're secure in the arms of the Father and the Holy Spirit fills your heart. As we strengthen our intimate relationship with the Father and we truly know that He acts on our behalf there is such a sense of calm through the storms. It's not that they're any less tumultuous it's sort of like being out on the fishing boat with Jesus asleep right next to us and there is no longer fear controlling the situation.

I heard such an awesome sermon this weekend based on Psalm 37:34 (New Living Bible)
" Don't be impatient for the Lord to act. Keep traveling steadily along His pathway and in due season He will honor you with every blessing." Such an empowering message, what a statement, " He will honor you with every blessing."not some, not many, but every. But the key to the sentence in this scripture for me was " Keep traveling steadily along His pathway" that is paramount. Because if we stay the course, stick with Him and His plan for each of us, then we receive His best, but if we weave in and out we only get His second best, for when we leave His pathway the gifts we were coming upon will be missed and we can't receive them if we're not there.

Whether it be the trickery by our attacker using our health, family, friends or circumstances, when we keep our eye on those things than we can't have our eye on our loving Father. And though we've been saved by His grace and our sins have been washed away in the Blood of His only Son it doesn't mean we have entitlement.

If we don't do what we need to do and be a beacon and spread His love, be as Christ like as possible, and fulfill our purpose, we will not only miss out on our gifts but we will not be there for our Father who may need us to be somewhere else to help one of His other children.

We are all connected and our Loving Father needs every single one of us to bring as many of His lost sheep home to the Kingdom as in the parable in Luke 15:3-7.

3 So Jesus told them this story: 4 “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. 6 When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!

We are His Shepherd's and if we know the Holy Spirit within us, than He will guide our every step and all we need to do is remember to ask and speak to Him about all things. In turn He will stand before the Father for us and the outcome will  be awesome because God is working on our behalf..Praise His Holy Name.

While writing this blog I am just so filled with the Spirit my heart is smiling, my mind is calm. and my mouth wants to shout and sing Hallelujah.

I pray this week we all allow our loving Father to work on our behalf  so we can receive His best for us. I pray the below poem from my upcoming book " Poems of the Eternal heart A Daily Devotional inspires and brings you strength and comfort...Love, hugs, and prayers Patricia xx

Staying God's Course

When we stay on track,
what a ride we share,
filled with such joy,
and a Father who cares.

He sets down rules,
so that we may see,
just how much love,
He holds for you and me.

When we wait upon the Lord,
and lift up all things,
through our many battles,
our hearts still sing.

The Holy Spirit guides us,
 ensuring we stay true,
as we become more Christ-like,
in all we say and do.

As our walk becomes intimate,
our battles will increase,
but comfort comes in knowing,
our reward's eternal peace....
