*******We All Need To Smile*******

It has been a very dark and sad month not only for myself but for many of my Sisters and Brothers who have mourned the loss of a loved one who brought love and light to our paths. I pray for us all. We know the days ahead will only get harder but we must all keep in mind what God promised us in Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[a] who[b] have been called according to his purpose."

It is hard for us as humans to understand our Fathers perfect timing especially when we lose someone, and I sometimes struggle with that a lot, as I have lost way to many people so soon, however, if we believe and I know we do in our loving Fathers word, than we must also believe that when our purpose is fulfilled that we will leave this place and await our day when our eternal Perfect bodies will shed this human suit and we will live eternally with our loving Father and family for all of eternity.

I pray for you all and myself during this very sad  and heavy time, again recalling the words of our Father: Matthew 11:28-30 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
May we all find the strength, comfort and joy we need in the weeks ahead. Below is a poem I hope inspires you to Smile. Love, hugs and prayers... Patricia

A Smile
A smile is a message
that everyone should share,
for our Father said it's important
we show others that we care.

For when we think about our planet
about the anger it contains,
sometimes a simple smile
can wipe away it's pain.

So if you're feeling badly
not sure of what to do,
it's the twinkle in you're smile
that can turn your gray skies blue.

It seems like such a little thing
but believe me that's not so,
in fact for some around you
it's the response you need to show.

For to believe in a place that's sometimes dark
that there's still a ray of light,
you're very smile is a source of strength
which proves we need not fight.

To spread our Father's wishes
that love and kindness still abound,
we need to keep our promise
to spread our smile all around.

For the power of a smile
that comes directly from the heart,
Is still the strongest signal
that we are all a crucial part.

Of our loving Fathers solid flock
that will continually lead the way,
until we're all together
on that awesome, wondrous day...

  1. Hi Patricia....I've been away from blogland and visiting dear friends here...I had no idea any of this was going on...I am so sorry. I also hardly ever have time to listen to the news...let alone American news....this is heartbreaking...such loss.

    Connie your poems.

  2. Thanks Connie, So nice to hear from you. Hope all is well. I am so glad you enjoyed the poetry, means a lot to me hugs love and prayers xx

  3. Beautiful Pat, It's such a good feeling knowing when you lose someone in your life...There are people out there who understand just what your going through...

  4. Hi Patricia,
It is so hard to lose a brother or sister in the Lord who is a solid rock. Some very dear prayer warrior friends of mine are talking about moving away and it just totally breaks my heart knowing that one day they may not be here.

Praying God will come in and ease your pain.

Beautiful poem. A blogger friend once told me that there is a ministry in a smile. One way to reach people without saying a word.

  5. Child, Thank you so much for your comforting words and your countless support. I am sorry about your friends thinking of moving away, as support systems full of love are hard to find. I know the Lord will comfort you and send you all you need. Hugs love and prayers always...Patricia xx
