*****Keeping Our Joy and Faith*****

I received a message today from a fellow Christian and Author who has been bombarded lately with so many attacks that she was beginning to question her gift and path. As our Father tells us through His word I did what any of our brothers or sisters would do; I prayed and asked for the wisdom to share the words He needed her to hear.

As I said in one of my earlier posts, prayer is oxygen for all Christians. So I was not at all surprised when I received a note in which she told me that several positive unexplainable things took place that evening, and she was so grateful for my words and prayers she could feel her faith being energized once again, and strong enough to face what may come her way.

It touched my heart that the Lord is all knowing and does things in His perfect time, sometimes it's immediate and other times not, but, it's always the perfect time whenever His answers and direction arrive.

We each have a purpose it's true, but we also have a responsibility daily to act in His likeness. It may be we are needed to smile at a person who's not so pleasant, for we never know why a person may act in that way, but our smile can be what changes their outlook.

We may be needed to listen to a stranger even though we have errands to get done, or perhaps it may be to have a cup of tea with an elderly neighbor. Whatever it is, we must set aside our own needs at times to give out, because we know when we act in a selfless manner, God repays us tenfold for our unspoken actions that are done just because and not for self gratification.

So to all my Christian family around the globe, I pray we go out daily and spread love and kindness even when we ourselves may not be having the best day, and I can tell you without hesitation, before we realize it, our not so great day turns out to be pretty darn terrific, thanks to God and His abundant love, our own joy and faith gets rejuvenated and tomorrow looks a lot brighter for us all.

May we all have a blessed, peace-filled, fruitful weekend, and may we all continue to feel our Heavenly Father's loving embrace...God bless Patricia©

  3. Amen, God's ways are not our ways; we just have to trust him no matter what we are going thru, we are still called to be a light in the world.

  4. If there is to be any "having a cup of tea with an elderly neighbor" , I would probably find myself in the role of the "elderly neighbor" instead of the other way around. :)

Meanwhile, I have been struggling to learn to stuff a duvet! Seriously.

    Have a bless weekend. ...Marsha
