****For All The Mother's Out There****

I have been blessed to have a Mother who has always tried to instill upon us, the importance of being the best we can be, and to love and show kindness, and to reach out to those who may not ask for support.

Like all Mother-Daughter relationships we have had our moments, but in my heart I have always Known that she did and still does her very best. Sometimes we as children forget that our parents are only human, and though we want to believe they know everything, and will always make the right choice, they can't, because none of us are perfect.

Before I started my own greeting card line I free-lanced for Blue Mountain Arts and they bought this back in 1992 for one of their Mother Anthologies. I would like to dedicate this not only to my Mom, but to all the Care-givers,Mom's, and Siblings out there that have been like a Mom to any child. May God continue to give you strength and direction, and may you continue to accept His loving embrace....

Mom You're A Pot Of Gold

When we hung up the phone today, one of the first things I realized is how lucky I am to have a mom who has always been my friend.

You're like having a pot of gold that never runs out. You're always there. No matter what the hour is, what the circumstances are, or whether we''re miles apart, I can always count on you.

The gifts you gave me are priceless. You encouraged my dreams, taught me to see things for what they are, and let me know that it's o.k. to have my head in the clouds as long as my feet stay firmly planted on the ground.

Your unselfish way has made me a stronger, more patient and giving person. It has also afforded me the room to make my own mistakes. In making those mistakes I was able to develop character, which led to a higher level of self-esteem.

Being the Mom that you are, I know you are going to say I did it myself, but the truth of the matter is I had a solid foundation, you.

So I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for being my friend in every sense of the word, for being a mom who gives endless support, and the kind of person who makes a difference in the world and should never be taken for granted. I love you.....

Have a blessed and wonderful Mother's day everyone. Cherish these memories, etch them in your heart so that anytime you may need to recall that memory, you will be able to feel that love you share. Have a fruitful and blessed week, and may we all continue to feel our Father's loving embrace.... Hugs and prayers Patricia©

  4. Hello Pat my lovely friend. It is so uplifting to be able to open your blog and think of all the blessings you remind me of. This tribute that you wrote to "my' mom is much appreciated. Now I would like you to know that those same traits that your mother instilled in you are evident in your humble and faithful love you send out to all of us who need a mothers touch. God bless you my beautiful friend and may you remember that your children feel exactly the same way about you. All my love, Geoff.
