********Circle of Strength********

Lincoln was once quoted saying: " And in the end it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years."

As Christians a truer statement was never made. For we know that we each have an integral part in our Father's perfect plan, a purpose. What we don't know is how long it will take us to fulfill, or when we will attain it.

It may be accomplished in our just being born and taken back to the Father quickly, and in our human capacity of understanding that may make no sense because it's so painful, or we can live to be Ninety Eight to get it done. What we do know is that whenever it is done, it is always in our Heavenly Father's perfect time.

For those of us who walk with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, what we do know is that we must stay the course, support our brothers and sisters, and aid in anyway we can, even if all we're needed for is to join in prayer for strength, peace, comfort and to share unconditional love for one another.

These are very hard times, and though we knew they were coming, and that they would be times like we've never experienced before, I don't think we were conciously aware of the magnitude of their reach. Yes, we read about the signs over and over, but as with everything in life, reading and hearing, are very different than seeing and living.

My prayer list has gotten so long that I am so afraid of leaving someone out that I now  start my prayers by saying, " Father bless all those I love , all those who love me, and all those who love those that love me." I guess I just want my Christian family to know that though these times are coming to pass, we can get through them a lot more joyful and calmly, knowing, that we have our circle of strength in each other to carry us through until we are joined with our heavenly Father.

So may we all continue to; 1Thessalonians 5: 16-18, Rejoice always, Pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Jesus Christ.

I hope we all have a fruitful, safe, and love-filled weekend, and that we continue to feel God's loving embrace ...God Bless Patricia©

  3. I can name hundreds of God's people who did a mighty work for the Kingdom of Christ and died young. Good old brother Abe was right... it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years."

  5. Sometimes the writing speaks much about the mind, heart and soul of an author. There is much beauty in you I see that is reflective of your writing that expresses your true faith, love and the care of fellow Christians brothers and sisters. There is also a sense of joy and peace within you that I get from reading about your life.

    Blessings,
    Paul
