*****Bringing in 2013*****

For me bringing in the New Year is the same as bringing in a new day. Every day is a new beginning in God's eyes. Each night I reflect on the the things I think I accomplished that God asked of me and I go over all the things where I feel I fell short. In reflecting daily, it really is no big transition when a new year comes in, other than it's a year closer to us joining our Heavenly Father.

He tells us we should not worry for tomorrow, Mathew 6:34  "So never worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
All we need is to remember that God has perfect timing and a purpose for us all. All He wants from us is to be a light that shines in the darkness. Psalm 112:4
"Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous."
I pray that we continue daily to pray for others and give thanks in all circumstances

This year I started praying  Colossians 1:9-14  9For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. 13For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14in whom we have redemption,e the forgiveness of sins.

For me it seems to cover all the needs possible for all those needing prayer. We are so blessed to have such armor as God's word, the Holy Spirit, and our fellow Christians to help us get through these dark days.

The closer we get to shedding our carnal beings and having our eternal bodies the more excited I get.
I feel really excited about this new year and all the blessings and gifts God has placed on all His children's path. He wants to bless us abundantly. Deuteronomy 28:11
"The LORD will show his abundant goodness with respect to your children, the offspring of your animals, and the produce of your farmland that he promised your ancestors he would give you.

It is so important that we continue to grow our family in Christ, and continue to use our power of prayer for all things so that we may accomplish the biggest harvest possible for our loving Father. He made the greatest sacrifice possible, so that we may be given the gift of forgiveness through His Grace by the death of His Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, I am so thankful and joyful to do all I possibly can on a daily basis. I pray that the below poem from my upcoming book " Poems of the Eternal Heart a Daily Devotional" brings you strength and comfort in the upcoming week and may we all continue to feel our Father's loving embrace. Love, hugs and prayers Patricia

Our Future is Full of Promise

As we read our Bible every day,
one thing is crystal clear,
that as long as we love our Savior,
we have no need to fear.

All the trials that we endure,
while staying on God's path,
are surely protected by His hand,
and not a sign of our Father's wrath,

But instead our response will be discussed,
to help determine where we'll live,
when we arrive in our Father's kingdom,
as He's passes out the homes He'll give.

To all His loyal children,
who carried out their given tasks,
and fulfilled our Father's wishes,
that each of us, were asked.

And once we're up in Heaven,
our eternal life shall than begin,
when all of us will live as one,
in a forever, without sin....
