*********God Has No Equal*********

I started writing a completely different post yesterday and before I could finish I got sick.Than this morning I read my daily devotional written by Bruce Stans and knew it was meant for me not to finish so I would write this post instead.

The quote from the devotional is this; "Remember, God has no equal, and no opposite either. But most of us think of Satan as locked in an equal battle with God Himself. Yet the devil isn't even in the same league as God. He's someone dangerous.. but not all powerful. Let this important truth encourage you."

How encouraging is this reminder. Because we are human and think in a human capacity, and know our battle is to fend off the attacker, we sometimes forget it is just our battle. We are struggling on earth because it is Satan's domain but our loving Father has no part in this battle as He already knows the price that will be paid by the devil.

We, on the other hand, know there is only one way into Heaven and when we have such an intimate walk with the Father the devil wants company, and therefore goes after Gods children with a vengeance. However, if we can remember to use the Holy Spirit within us, we will be reminded that this battle has already been sealed and our attacker is the loser, and therefore we should rejoice in all things knowing God is in full control, at all times.

As long as we stay His path and purpose for us, God handles the consequences on that path, Whoohoo, and a Big Amen. So as we are faced with these traps and tricks let us remember who is at the helm of our life, and just keep smiling as we weather the storm.
The below poem is from my upcoming book entitled "Poems Of The Eternal Heart A Daily Devotional." I hope it encourages and inspires your week ahead. Love, hugs, and prayers Patricia xx

If We Stay Our Path

When we seek out our Father,
in all that we do,
we can be sure of one thing,
His response will be true.

For He never misleads us,
and wants only what's best,
so that in all that we face,
we can always find rest.

There's no room for doubt,
or the attacker steps in,
twisting our thoughts,
in hopes he might win.

But as long as we're steadfast,
and give thanks every day,
it's the Holy Spirit's wisdom,
that will show us each the way...

    Good morning sweet friend.
Sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well. Praying that today, you are better.

Love your post and your poem as always.
Satan never sleeps and we need to be aware of his many hats. The world is filled w/his little helpers and we surely need to remind ourselves of who is in CONTROL!

I will trust in my Savior all the days of my life. His love and truth has never failed me and I know HE is the only one that promise me eternal life and everlasting PEACE.

That I rest in day after day.

    Love you!
