*****We Must Always Remember*****

Our most Precious, Awesome, holiday is upon us, Easter. As with most holidays,  we can get caught up in the preparation for family. The cooking, cleaning, shopping, making baskets, and planning the annual egg hunt for the children, a family tradition amongst my extended family.

However, the true celebration of this holiday is the gift of our Salvation, which was only made possible through the death and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. Today of all days when I truly concentrate on the pain He endured for us, it is so mind boggling and humbling; to think a sinless body of flesh enduring the sins of ALL Mankind. I  mean when I think of the pain my personal sins must have caused Him multiplied by everyone, it's incomprehensible.

I think of all of us going through pain both physical and emotional, and how at times we want to throw up our hands because it becomes to much, and at that moment, I recall our Lords suffering and I ask for forgiveness.

For the joy that awaits us is inconceivable and beyond our realm of comprehension, and I truly believe that our suffering is part of our Father's plan so that when we receive such a feeling of pure love and peace we will have a clearer understanding as to just how all encompassing it truly will be.

So this Easter as we go to our Sunrise services, and give thanks around our dinner tables, I pray that in remembering His pain, we continue to do His work so that Our Father knows  His children remember daily, what a enormous sacrifice He endured for all, so that He could bring us home.

May we continue to be grateful, and steadfast in His word, and love one another as our Heavenly Father loves us. May He continue to wrap us in His loving embrace and may we all have a safe and Blessed weekend....Patricia

  6. Hi Patricia:

God came to us through Christ Jesus our Lord to save us from our sins. Since He ascended into heaven and seated at the right hand of God the Father, God is still reaching down to us. Just as God had reached down to Paul on his way to Damascus, He is still reaching down to many to change their ways.

I like to invite you over to my other blog http://CertaintyOfGodsLove.BlogSpot.com There is a collection of some real stories I like to share with you and perhaps you can also make some comments.

    Blessings,
    Paul

  8. The most important time in the Christian Calendar. I always think of this as the real start of the New Year. It brings hope and new beginnings for all of us if we allow it to.
