******* Until We Get to Glory*******

Our loving Father who knows all things knew that until we reached Glory, we would need all the help possible to endure our trials. For both good and bad are a necessary part in God's divine plan. And our obedience to Him through those trials are critical to our individual Glory. John 14:2 “There are many lodgings in my Father's house, and if not, I would have told you, because I go to prepare a place for you.”

That is why the importance of knowing, living, and understanding the powers we possess through God's word and the Holy Spirit is so vital to the fulfillment of both our individual purpose and our purpose as a whole, to create God's shinning light throughout the world.

One candle may light a room, dozens of candles may light a home, hundreds of candles may light a community, but thousands and thousands of candles light the way.We are all God's candles needed by Him to light the planet. As the song says " and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shinning sea."

There are many scriptures where God speaks of us as His light " Ezra 9:8
"But now, for a brief moment, the LORD our God has been gracious in leaving us a remnant and giving us a firm place in his sanctuary, and so our God gives light to our eyes and a little relief in our bondage." or Acts13:47-48,  47For this is what the Lord has commanded us: "I have made youg a light for the Gentiles, that youh may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.i"
48When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.

So when we go out this week it is important for us to remember that God trusts us to light the way for others with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. No matter how heavy our hearts may be, for whatever reason, we know it is part of God's design and it is necessary, and by letting God's light shine through our words or smiles we are fulfilling what God has asked of us.

Remembering what was said in Mathew 20:16  16 So othe last will be first, and the first last.”  I believe what is meant by this scripture is that if we put others needs before our own we will be made first, and if we put our own needs before others, we will be last.

I pray our loving Father will grant us the strength to ignore our earthly bodies this week and live through the eyes of our spiritual bodies so that we can propel others up, in turn lifting us up with them. May we all have a fruitful and spiritually enriched week, 1Thessalonians 5:16 16Rejoice evermore. 17Pray without ceasing. 18In every thing give thanks: Happy Thanksgiving Love hugs and prayers Patricia xx

Light The Way

When we put others first
something wonderful takes place,
we see the love of our Savior
on each others face.

It shows through our smile
and beams through our eyes,
our attacker is defeated
as we deactivate his lies.

The devil wants us to believe
his darkness will abound,
but when our lights are shinning
It's God's love that will astound.

For it was through Jesus death
that we were saved by his grace,
so though the attacker tries
he's already lost this race.

At the first sign of trouble
do we throw our towel in,
no, we reach for His word
knowing that's how we win.

It's true that we 're human
and at times we do fall,
but it's in that moment
we must know who to call.

Our Father gave His only Son
The Savior gave His Holy gift,
and we are the blessed recipients
Who need only ask and lift....
